As we come out of lockdown next week in NSW, with ACT to follow soon afterwards, it will be time to celebrate for all our valued members. The club understands the difficulties that the restrictions have placed on NSW and ACT residents alike however identifies that ACT residents have been unable to access the course since early August 2021.
As a gesture of goodwill, and in consideration of our current financial position and commitments, the Board of Directors have agreed to the provision of a $100 bar account for all ACT full playing members with this amount prorated across other categories. This account will be available from 1 November 2021 to applicable members.
In addition the club will be conducting an ACT vs. NSW 2 person ambrose state of origin event in the near future with competition fees and over $2000 in prizes covered by the club along with a celebratory BBQ and drinks.
It is important to note that the club has suffered considerably through the lockdown period also with no bar or gaming revenue whilst supporting staff and maintaining facilities through this difficult time.
The Board of Directors would like to thank all members for their patience, support and understanding through this period and we all look forward to seeing you in the coming weeks.
